
Academic profile
Rens Krijgsman, male, born in 1987 in the Netherlands, holds a DPhil in Oriental Studies from the University of Oxford. He is currently Tenured Associate Professor and Ph.D. Supervisor at the Research and Conservation Center for Unearthed Texts, Tsinghua University, and was selected as a “Tang Foundation Scholar” in 2022. His primary research focuses on Pre-Qin and Qin-Han Excavated Documents and Manuscript Studies. He serves as Secretary of the Board of the European Association for the Study of Chinese Manuscripts (EASCM); Editor of the EASCM Newsletter; Associate Editor of Bamboo and Silk; Editorial Board Member of the Jao Tsung-I Library of Sinology; International Advisory Board Member of the Bulletin of the School of Oriental and African Studies; and Editorial Committee Member of the Nanjing University-Oxford University Research Center for Excavated Texts.
