
Academic profile
Cheng Hao, male, born in 1989 in Juye, Shandong Province, earned his Bachelor of History from the Department of History, Shanghai University (March 2007 – July 2010), Master of History in Chinese Ancient History (Pre-Qin History) under the supervision of Professor Ning Zhenjiang at the same department (September 2010 – July 2012), and Doctor of Philosophy in Historical Philology (Excavated Texts) under the guidance of Professor Li Xueqin at the Department of History, Tsinghua University (September 2012 – July 2015). He conducted postdoctoral research in the Postdoctoral Program in Chinese Language and Literature at Tsinghua University (July 2015 – December 2017) with Professor Liao Mingchun as his mentor. He joined the Research and Conservation Center for Unearthed Texts, Tsinghua University in January 2018, holding positions as Assistant Professor and Associate Professor. He is currently a Tenured Associate Professor and Ph.D. Supervisor at the Center. His primary research focuses on Excavated Documents and Pre-Qin History and Culture.
